The Dennis/Patrick Railroad is located in Lancaster, CA. The railroad started construction in 1999 and will never be completed. You are never done building a model railroad. The basic layout is a double track mainline that starts at 0" and crosses over to an eventual height of 8" from the start. My dad and I can operate 7 trains simultaneously using DCC. This includes 4 main line trains, 2 trains on an outside loop using relays to control their stopping, starting and switching, and a yard switcher.
